Birthday Parties & Group Events

Parties and events at Skateboard and Inline Skate School are fun, informal affairs held indoors at the Sherwood Forest Community Centre gym. For a cost of $200 (including tax),  you get 2 hours of private use of the facility and all our quarter pipes, ramps, rails, fun boxes, and other equipment as well as invitations.

We assume a maximum of 15 guests (give or take a few). Many more than 15 would require additional staff at an additional charge.

Your guests can skateboard, inline skate or scooter. We ask that they bring their own skateboards, inline skates, and/or scooters and we will supply whatever equipment your guests do not have. Helmets and running shoes are mandatory and should be supplied by your guests. Knee pads and elbow pads are also mandatory and we have lots available to borrow.

We set up tables for your use, one of which will have chairs around it so your guests may be seated to enjoy any food or beverage you provide. Having pizza delivered and snacking on birthday cake are the norm though we've seen hot dogs warmed in crock pots too!

Once we have settled on a date and time for your party or event, a $70 deposit (cash or cheque payable to Skateboard School) holds your spot. A supervisor and at least one coach (depending on the number of guests) will be present during the party. Skateboarding or inline skating lessons are also provided. Please let us know at the time of booking so arrangements can be made to have the appropriate coaches at your party or event.

Once your deposit is received, your booking is made. Deposits are nonrefundable if the party or event is cancelled. However, a change may be made to the date or time of your party or event subject to availability and a $15 administrative fee.

From September to June, parties and events are held on Saturday afternoons after our regular classes, though other times and days may be available. Check for available times below or just contact us.
